Long ago this noble turn-of-the-century house had been cut up to create many small apartments. New owners decided to recreate the gracious single-family home once again and wanted to unify disparate interior spaces and styles.
This handsome bathroom was created by demolishing and merging two former kitchens. The owners asked that this room be in an Arts and Crafts style and that great attention be paid to material detailing and joinery.
Special details were created for other elements in the house, such as new wood surrounds for an existing fireplace and hearth stonework. |
