The St. Hilary Parish Center and Convent was designed to encompass 10,500 square feet. The Parish Center would occupy the upper level and a portion of the lower level. It would house meeting rooms and offices for parish activities and a full-service kitchen to support fellowship events. The convent, privately located on the lower level, would provide three residential suites for the sisters' use.
The Parish Center would be sited on the hillside property to take advantage of sweeping views from San Francisco Bay to Mount Tamalpais. The radial design configures the upper level space to focus inward to a central podium, while accentuating the panoramic view from terraces at both levels. |
