Built in the '60s, the Cathedral's conference center was showing its age. While the Cathedral itself was immensely popular, the conference center had never realized its potential in terms of being able to attract uses and visitors to make it self-sufficient. It was not a destination point. There was little to draw people to the Center.
The master plan set out a number of steps to help achieve the goal of making the Center self-supporting, and to help it become an active part of the Cathedral. |
