The St. Hilary Parish master plan was developed to address the need to upgrade existing facilities and to accommodate growing program services with new facilities. Implementation of the master plan began with the renovation of the existing church, and will continue with a new 10,500 square foot parish center with a convent, a 9,700 square foot gymnasium, and the expansion of the school classroom facilities.
Concerns of the residential community have been an additional challenge to overcome in obtaining planning approvals. Therefore, building consensus has been paramount in developing successful solutions.
Implementing the master plan has required a major capital campaign effort on the part of the parishioners. The total project budget is $7,500,000. |
